2. Personal Data We Collect

2.1 Email opt-in (lead magnet)

When you submit your email address to receive our free PDF guide ("50 File Automations"), we collect:

• Email address
• First name (if provided)
• Date and time of subscription
• IP address (collected automatically by Mailerlite for anti-spam and double opt-in purposes)

2.2 Product purchase

When you purchase Prompt to Script through Lemon Squeezy, payment and billing data (name, email, payment card details, billing address) are collected and processed directly by Lemon Squeezy as the Merchant of Record. We receive only a confirmation email and your email address to fulfil the order.

2.3 Website analytics

Our website is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may collect basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer) for security and operational purposes. We do not use additional third-party analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) unless stated below.

2.4 Data you do not submit

Scripts downloaded with this product run entirely on your local machine. No files, documents, or script outputs are ever sent to our servers.

3. Why We Process Your Data & Legal Basis

4. Email Marketing — Mailerlite

We use Mailerlite to manage our email list and send newsletters. When you submit your email address via our opt-in form, your data is transferred to and stored on Mailerlite's servers.

• We use a double opt-in process — you must confirm your subscription via a link sent to your email before we add you to our list.
• Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from all future marketing emails.
• Mailerlite acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA). They are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and comply with GDPR.
• Mailerlite may transfer data outside the EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

5. Third-Party Services

We share your data only with the following processors, to the extent necessary for each service:

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal data with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

• Email subscribers: We retain your data for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your data is deleted from our active list within 30 days. You may request full deletion at any time (see Section 7).
• Purchase records: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations.
• Server logs: Retained by Netlify for up to 30 days for security purposes.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

8. Cookies

Our website uses a minimal number of cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies: Set by Netlify for load balancing and security. These cannot be disabled as they are required for the site to function.
• Mailerlite tracking pixel: If you click a link in one of our emails, Mailerlite may set a cookie to track whether you opened the email or clicked a link, for the purpose of measuring email campaign performance. This is covered by your consent when you subscribed.

Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel): We use the Meta Pixel on our website pages to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to understand how visitors interact with our site. The Meta Pixel may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. in accordance with their Data Policy. You can opt out of Meta's use of your data for advertising purposes via your Facebook Ad Preferences or through the Your Online Choices tool.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other advertising trackers beyond those listed above. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings at any time.

9. International Data Transfers

Some of our third-party service providers (including Mailerlite and Lemon Squeezy) may transfer and process your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
• EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify subscribers via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
